Proposed times are: Morning 7:30 am to 12 pm or afternoon 11 am to 3:30 pm. Your family chooses.

Family, school, church and community work together. The learning environment is not just the third teacher; it is the child’s second home.
We prepare children for the future world they will graduate into.
Learning groups by stage, so children move at their own pace and older students model skills for younger ones.
From meeting an idea to guided inquiry, to independent use to sharing mastery in the real world.
Life skills built across learning: self-management, participation, creative thinking, reflection, enquiry and teamwork.
The best of the traditional with the best of the new: explicit teaching, inquiry, and ethical use of AI to personalise learning.

Village Yard embeds an educational philosophy that focuses on the holistic development of each child and educating for life; the wellbeing, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual domains of the child so that they have the knowledge, skills and attributes to Care, Lead, Learn, Connect, Serve.

Village Yard is built on the Bronfenbrenner Ecological Model principle that it takes a village to raise a child and OECD Research for the future of education. The learning environment is not just the third teacher, it’s the child’s second home.
